  • Using MYOB ODBC Driver 19.n with Windev using a manually set up ODBC Data Source. Must MYOB file be open? Older 32bit Windows pc's using normal path eg: "c:\myobdata\myfile.myo" work ok with MYOB closed. New Windows versions need MYOB file open unless using a UNC path. Share the folder containing MYOB data file. Process returns a UNC path eg:"\\mycomputername\myobdata\" which will work with MYOB file closed.

Save this file into your Myb9 folder

  • The problem is due to the Zip
ActiveX component not being able to
    install. Copy the 3 files
    dzactx.dll, duzactx.dll,
    dzstactx.dll into the
    [c:\windows\system32 folder if a
    32bit computer] or
    [c:\windows\sysWOW64 folder if a 64
    bit computer].

The next step to fix it is to run
    the CMD.exe as Administrator.

    Steps:

    Start> Computer> Local Disk (c:)>
    Windows> System32 or sysWOW64>
Scroll down to CMD.exe, right click
    and 'Run as Administrator'

Then you can just regsvr32 xxxxx.dll

    to change directory use the
    following format:
to go back a folder - CD..
    to navigate forward - cd
    folderNameExactly

  • DataWise starts up and hangs.
    Program running in
    Taskmanager/processes. Have to kill
process. Same occurs each time run
    exe.

    Solved by downloading Foxpro SP2
    runtimes available at
    DataWise.co.nz\downloads.

DataWise will now run with it's own
private set of dll's and will not be
    affested by other application
    upgrades or deletions.

  • If the install program has not been
used, then Foxpro runtimes are not
    in the windows/system folder.

Not a problem ... download the
Runtime files and copy them into the
    same folder as the exe.

    Download from here
