What comes across from QuickBooks
Everything financial and sales-side — including the full general ledger, down to the transaction.
- Chart of accounts and budgets — laid out so every DataWise financial report runs unchanged.
- Customers and suppliers — with what each one owes.
- Sales invoices, sales receipts, credit notes and refunds — every line, with what has been paid and what is still due.
- Estimates, purchase orders, bills and supplier credits — every line.
- Payments received and paid — each one matched to the invoices and bills it settled.

Being straight about what QuickBooks does not hold. QuickBooks Online has no sales orders and no committed stock, so the screens built on those — Sales Invoicing and Dispatch Viewer — are not offered for QuickBooks. Everything financial is there.

- The database lives on your computer, in a folder you choose. Stop subscribing and the data stays right where it is, still readable by anything.
- You sign in on Intuit's own screen, so your password stays between you and Intuit — and you can disconnect the app from inside QuickBooks whenever you like.
- Lock a company database if you want to — optional password encryption, per company, your choice.
